On May 12, 2025, from 9 AM to 6 PM, Dresden will host an exclusive startup event focused on 6G technologies and communication networks, marking the opening of the Dresden Communication and Chip Festival week.
Four German-funded startup incubators from the fields of 6G, communication networks, robotics, and AI will present the results of their first 12 months of work. Leading innovators and founders will showcase their latest technologies and demonstrators to an expert audience from business, industry, academia, and politics. The event offers a unique opportunity to explore Germany's dynamic innovation ecosystem in these cutting-edge fields.
Following the presentations, a social event will take place at Kraftwerk Mitte Dresden, providing an excellent platform for networking and further collaboration.

From Lab to Reality: A Round Table Discussion on Advancing 6G Technology
The 6G research marathon has begun! 6G is a key enabler for Industrial IOT. With numerous concepts and technologies still in flux, 6G research could include covering much higher frequencies and wider bandwidth, discovering new applications, and investigating spectrum optimization using artificial intelligence and MIMO technologies.
Join leading wireless researchers and the NI R&D team at this exclusive full-day roundtable event the day prior to the Dresden 6G Summit. Come and hear from experts on key topics in 6G research including AI/ML, energy efficiency, joint communications and sensing, and more. Participate in key discussions to brainstorm on drive future innovations.
Each session will be interactive, and researchers will share a few applications. You’ll hear from leaders on some of the challenges and have a discussion on future areas for investment.

6G-life General Assembly
6G-life will significantly stimulate industry and the start-up landscape in Germany
through positive showcase projects and thus sustainably strengthen digital sovereignty
in Germany. We will drive cutting-edge research for 6G communication networks with a
focus on human-machine collaboration. On May 12-13, 2025 our 6G-life General
Assembly will take place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than 150 scientists
from TU Munich and TU Dresden.

CeTI General Assembly
CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with
cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area
communication networks. At the Cluster of Excellence CeTI, scientists from the fields
of electrical engineering, communication technology, computer science, psychology,
neuroscience, and medicine are working together with researchers from TU Munich, the
German Aerospace Center, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, as well as international
scientific institutions, to pursue this goal. The General Assembly will take place
in Dresden on 16.05. We are happy to welcome more than hundred researchers from TU Dresden, TU Munich and our other partner institutions.
